With...

5. 'The Drop' is a Mess (REVIEW) - Screen Speck

  • 22 jan 2023 · It's a beautiful little scene, written tautly and acted earnestly and full of those revelatory little moments – a look of realization, a word overemphasized.

  • Hulu's "The Drop" wants to be a quirky, potentially edgy look at the indecisiveness and uncertainty of parenting. Instead, it's a muddy mess.

6. MOVIE REVIEW: The Drop - Every Movie Has a Lesson

  • 13 sep 2014 · "The Drop" does have a sly ending in mind and at play, a great scene really, but it doesn't match or make up for the tedious lead-up.

  • It is of great surprise that, for me, all I kept thinking about during "The Drop" was Michael Madsen's response-begging question from Quentin Tarantino's "Reservoir Dogs" as Mr. Blonde:   "Are you going to bark all day or are you going to bite?"  For t

  • I loathe writing reviews about movies like The Drop. Not because it isn’t good, but because it’s so good that it’s difficult to find much to say other than: dude go see this movie. Which I suppose is exactly what movie reviews are supposed to be on most days, but we usually end up with thousand word dissections of monstrosities or interesting conversation starters about good films.
